Njoro has a high stunting rate at 56% above the national average of 52%. This is occasioned also by high levels of poverty at 57%, the highest among the sub counties of Nakuru.
This Campaign seeks to reverse this situation. Poor diets and nutrition not only affect physical development but has significant impact on cognitive development and abilities of children needed for firm foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
