Raphael is an experienced Educationist with vast knowledge and years of implementing multi donor, multi million donor funded projects on Education and Livelihoods. He supports organizations especially Self Help Groups, Community Based Organizations( CBOs) and local NGOs to understand Development of Theories of Change (ToCs),Detailed Annual Implementation Plans (DAIPs), Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL), Training Needs Assessment(TNAs), Education Project Planning and Management, Education Training of Trainers (ToTs), Participatory and Comprehensive Needs Assessments (PCNAs), Youth Mentorship and Livelihood skills, Capacity and Team Building within groups, Donor Reporting, Concept Note and Proposal Writing, Project Value Addition, Value for Money (VfM) and Leveraging, Networking and Consortium Building, Resource Mobilization and Fundraising, Staff Capacity Building and Development, Risk Assessment and Management through Risk Registers, Development of Standard and Security Operational Procedures (SOPs) and Strategic Organizational Growth through Strategy Development.

He has been a Country Director overseeing Education, Poverty Alleviation and Livelihood Agribusiness projects in several counties in Kenya among them Laikipia, Turkana, Garissa, Wajir, Nakuru, Machakos, Siaya as well as headed Refugee Secondary Education (including Girls Education and University Scholarships) in Kakuma as well as senior roles in Dadaab Refugee Camps.

He is currently an Individual Consultant working remotely as well as supporting youth and women farmer groups on resource mobilization, models of farming that enable sustainable land use. He is also a farmer and contributor to various policy matters on Education Sector Groups in various Counties. A Safeguarding, Children’s and Human Rights Advocate.
